Assistant Coach:  Rodney Byrd

Coach Byrd is in his 15th year at Tates Creek, two as a freshman assistant and one as a varsity graduate assistant.  He currently coaches the secondary.

He was an all-city player at Tates Creek and played at Cumberland College. Coach Byrd was also an assistant Coach for the Lexington Horsemen this past year.  Rodney has three sons, Brandon, Connery, Keegan, and one girl Chloe..  He and his wife Stephanie have been married 4 years.

M.H. "Pops" Ruddell

"Pops" has been a part of Tates Creek tradition since 1985.  He filmed games until 1993 and then became equipment manager.

He has been married to Martha for 49 years and has two children, Joe and Mark.

Assistant Coach:  John Dixon

Coach Dixon is beginning his 5th season at Tates Creek and will be his 2nd as Head Freshman Coach.  Coach Dixon is a graduate of Cumberland High School and Eastern Kentucky University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters of Art in Educational Leadership.  He currently teaches English at Tates Creek High School.

Assistant Coach:  Dave Cornelison

Coach Cornelison is beginning his second year on staff for Tates Creek. He is a graduate of Tates Creek High and University of Kentucky with a bachelors degree in Political Science.  He played football under Coach Roy Walton and will be coaching offensive and defensive lineman for the Freshman Team.

Kyle Bosh

Kyle is starting his third season video taping games for Tates Creek.  He is a graduate of Circleville High School in Circleville, Ohio and Otterbein College near Columbus, Ohio with a BA in Organizational Communication.  he served for two years as a student assistant for the Otterbein College Sports Info Dept.  Currently he is working on a Masters Degree in Public Administration at UK and works for the State Govt.  He has been married over 3 years to his lovely wife Karin.

Candi Lee is in her second year as the athletic trainer.  She is a graduate of Tates Creek, where she started as a student trainer.  She then received her BA from the University of Kentucky in Kinesiology followed by her Masters from Auburn University.

Assistant Coach:  Michael Castelvecchi

Coach Castelvecchi begins his second year at Tates Creek.  He coaches the Wide Receivers

He is a graduate of Lee-Davis High School in Virginia and the University of Kentucky with a Bachelors in Kinesiology. He played one year for UK. He is currently working towards his Masters in the same field.
